Welcome to CA1M!
CA1M is the Inland Empire chapter of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, an organization dedicated
to motorcycle riding safety and rider education. Our chapter serves the members of the Inland Empire and
surrounding communities.
Chapter Events:
Chapter CA1M meets on the second Sunday of each month at the Hidden Valley Golf Club in Norco. Buffet
breakfast begins at 8am with the meeting at 9am. A ride usually follows the meeting. We also have dinner rides every
Wednesday evening. Don't expect to find us if you're late, we're probably already on the road! We
spend most of our ride time on back roads, avoiding the freeways when possible. We also ride almost every weekend.
We LOVE to ride! You can find more details in the Events Calendar. Come meet the group and ride with the herd!

This herd knows how to PARTY!
Mascot: The "Happy" Cow.
CA1M became known as the "Movers" because we
are always on the go! The "Movers" became the "moooooers" and the rest is COW history!
I’m sure we intimidate those other hard-core riders with our COW hats! Ya think?
R-E-S-P-E-C-T - The Herd can now boast of TWO TOP-GUN Award Winners! The Top-Gun award is a prestigious
award earned by the best performing team on a Goldwing 1500 and Goldwing 1800 at the annual Wing-Ding Rally. As you probably
are aware, Jerry and Lois Cowen have earned the Goldwing 1500 1up (Expert) and 2up (Experienced) FIRST PLACE TOP-GUN awards
numerous times over the past years. Jerry can do things on his 1500 that just can't be done! If you have seen
him ride you know what I'm talking about. This year (2010) Jerry and Lois are joined by Val and Barb Tait on
their Black-Cherry 1800. Val earned his first 1up (Experienced) FIRST PLACE TOP-GUN award and SECOND PLACE 2up TOP-GUN
(Experienced) award at Wing-Ding! Congratulations to OUR members Jerry and Lois Cowen and Val and Barb Tait! WAY
TO GO! You make us proud!...
Motto: Friends for Fun, Safety, and Knowledge.
Safety and Fun is foremost with this chapter! We practice our riding with s-l-o-w ride, avoidance,
"S" and "Muuuuuu" (U) turn practice. Many of our members complete Advanced Rider
Courses (ARC) and CPR safety training each year........
